Natural Acerola C Tablet

This supplement provide a natural source of vitamin C to support the daily nutritional needs, boost their immune system and support overall health of small animals.

Acerola Cherry (Malpighia glabra) is a tropical fruit with high content of natural source of Vitamin C. Acerola cherry also contains other phytonutrients such as flavonoids, carotenoids as well as micronutrients such as vitamin A, vitamin B, iron, calcium, phosphorus, potassium and magnesium. This non-acidic source of vitamin C is gentle and non-irritating to the stomach.

Vitamin C deficiency is rather common in guinea pigs because their body are unable to produce their own vitamin C. Therefore, they need to get the vitamin C from their diet, otherwise they are at risk of developing Scurvy.
